So is the story that ultimately led Team-Sport Marchl & Neumaier in Wals near Salzburg from a cellar project to an internationally active company.
What started as a humble beginning in the attic has evolved into an internationally renowned success story. Thirty-five years ago, the foundation for our company was laid, and since then, we have achieved milestones we could only dream of back then.

The company Team-Sport Marchl & Neumaier GmbH offers always new highlights for its partners. In the context of the ASVÖ and the Team-Sport Club Service over 8500 clubs and 2.5 million members have been successfully looked after by us for 25 years. Due to our own printing house we are able to submit very good offers to every club and to respond to the special needs of every sport.
In addition to the club service, we also offer the same service for companies in every business sector. Whether work clothing, promotional gifts or even entire collections. At Team-Sport we respond individually to every customer request and jointly develop a concept to find the perfect solution.
The company Team Sport Marchl & Neumaier GmbH has been a partner of the world wrestling association “UNITED WORLD WRESTLING” since 2015. Since the conclusion of the contract in 2015, all referees in 180 countries (39,000 referees) have been equipped.
Due to the professional handling, Team Sport was commissioned with the implementation and support of the 176 national teams. Over 25 million wrestlers are currently practicing the oldest and most beautiful sport in the world!

The two managing directors Anton Marchl and Georg Neumaier look back on a successful career in olympic wrestling.
At the Olympic Games in Barcelona Anton Marchl took 6th place up to 74 kg in Gr.Röm. style. Georg Neumaier won the bronze medal in 1986 at the European Junior Championships up to 74 kg in free style.
In 1987 they initially only wanted to equip their sports colleagues with sportswear, but the company Team-Sport Marchl & Neumaier has since developed into a permanent fixture in the sporting goods trade.
As a distribution partner of international top brands, Team-Sport offers a huge selection of sports fashion, sportswear, shoes and specialized competition clothing.
Quality, practicality and a fair price – these are the parameters Team-Sport has always been committed to. In addition to the numerous brands, the customer can choose from a huge variety of no-lable products. Team-Sport currently works as a partner with approx. 8,000 companies and clubs in Austria and abroad. Together individual equipment lines are compiled and directly branded in the internal textile printery. Pressure or stick – the company team sport is technically always up to date.
To round off the programme, Team-Sport offers a wide range of suitcases, bags, backpacks and other merchandising products
Since 2013 Team-Sport is partner of the wrestling world association UWW and provide 180 wrestling national teams and their association with their special service.
That’s around 1,000 sports retailers.
